Sometimes jobs in the entertainment industry are rare. Even talented actors can have dry streaks. Such is the case for Paul Giamatti and Paul Rudd. Giamatti has not had a role in HTG Hollywood since 2012. And, although Rudd is the star of the soon-to-come How to Sit in a La-Z-Boy, it has not been scheduled and he needs some cash now. So, in order to pay some bills, the pair can now add Salesman to their resumes... Christmas tree sales! And, to help them, they have recruited multi-talented canine Amy!
"I've always wanted to work with her [Amy]," stated Giamatti. "I just figured it would be a movie role. But this will work. It's just September. No one is selling trees yet. We've got a jump on the competition!"
"I can actually use the dough" explained Amy. "I wasn't in the last Grand Theft Dog movie. That took a serious bite into my Pupperoni funds. Sure, I'll be in a few things soon, but I could use the money any time."
Rudd agreed with his co-workers. "Yeah, I can use the cash. I have no idea when I'll be paid for La-Z-Boy. Until it gets on the release calendar, I'm out of luck."
Any HTG Hollywood resident desiring a Christmas tree can find the actors' lot at the intersection next to the closed HTG Lube and across the street from the gas station with the Heidi Klum mural.
