"I sure hope so" stated a de Ravin fan when he heard the news. "She's sure underused. As far as films go, she hasn't been in anything since 2008's Kansas, that wildly weird Bish film. I hope Tim gets her a spot on the big screen soon."

Thanks to an offer made by Man at Work Construction, more talents are expected to seek shelter in pool houses belonging to HTG residents. Who will be the next pool house guest?

A New Zombie From Lake Hope Features (By Romeitaliano)

A new horror film, Zombie Madness, is scheduled for release on June 18. It is the debut film of producer someonesomeone. The cast is all men, including Ashton Kutcher, Freddie Prince Jr., John Cena and LL Cool J. The feature concerns a toxic gas that came out of a nuclear power plant and affect humans. Set to direct is Harold Ramis, who also helms A Summary Protest, released on the same day.

"It's a boon for Ramis fans" a local movie watcher commented. "Then again, is too much Ramis a bad thing? I don't think so, but you never know."

New TV Show Five!

After an absence from the streets of HTG Hollywood, producer Costa is rumored to be returning in grand fashion. According to recent visitors to the Club Siberia back room (who braved the Mr. T picket line), Costa is planning a television series for this fall. Based on the Scrubs series which ended earlier this year after a brief return, the Legacy Filmworks writer will be pitching Todd's Anatomy. Featuring Robert Maschio as surgeon Todd Quinlan, the series would follow the doctor's exploits while wearing his (in)famous banana hammocks.

"Oh, man, that would rule" one club goer remarked. "It would be nice to see more of the Scrubs world again."

Costa or representatives from Legacy have not returned emails as of this reporting concerning the veracity of these rumors.

Winslet Leads Poll of Oscar Actresses (By Romeitaliano)

A new poll titled "Which of these Oscar winning actresses are you most likely to work with?" was made recently on the HTG message board. Kate Winslet, who won an Oscar for Best Actress for The Reader in 2008, placed first with 25% of the votes. Although Kate has a lower Talent Score than other Oscar winning actresses like Julia Roberts , she could be the next major star of HTG in the following years.

French beauty Marion Cotillard placed second in the poll. She won an Oscar for La Vie En Rose and isn't a popular actress in HTG, but many producers claim they would immediately cast her if the proper role was found.

Nicole Kidman placed 3rd and is already an established and popular actress in HTG. Halle Barry, Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock follow. Charlize Theron is the only actress who received no votes and may not be in any HTG films in the coming years.

The HTG Police Force is losing another officer. Carla Gugino will be taking on a role in the new film Regrets in Tiber. This will be Carla's first role since 2008's Dick Tracy: Domino Night. She is playing Miriam, a friend of Carlo Boni (Michael Imperioli), helping him during the movie.

Regrets in Tiber is set in World War II era Italy, where Carlo Boni finds himself trying to fend for his and his family's life when the Germans occupy Italy. The film is being directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

It is the feature producing debut of The Golden Age Productions (Romeitaliano) and is being released by Lake Hope Features today.

Lake Hope's film, Dracula's Daughter, is scheduled for release on December 25th. Is Dracula and Christmas really a match? Maybe not, but this film is not a thriller as the title might suggest, but a comedy. Jason Schwartzman and Ellen Page are set to be the leads. The film will also incude a few big name stars, including Vince Vaughn, Kirsten Dunst and Helena Bonham Carter.

The film is about an already complicated life becoming far more complicated for one hit wonder author Augustine Snow. He discovers a chest full of strange drawings in his father’s old attic, an injured unicorn on his property, and meets a strange, goth socialite who claims to be the daughter of vampires.

The film is to be written by Matthew Trixie, Bryan Bishop, Andrew Newman and Marty Poole and will be directed by Bryan Bishop.

The HTG Armory is losing a nurse. Keira Knightley will be taking on a role in the new film Heavy Rain. This will be Keira's first role since 2008's Dungeons & Dragons: The Shattered Orb. She is said to be playing Madison Paige, a photojournalist who lives alone in the city and suffers from chronic insomnia.

Heavy Rain is the story of the Oragami Killer and how the killer intersplices into the lives of four seemingly unconnected people - Ethan Mars (Mark Pellegrino), Norman Jayden (Eddie Cibiran), Scott Shelby (Steve Schrirripa) and, of course, Madison Paige.

Heavy Rain is an adaptation of the video game of the same name. It is being produced by Baseball Mogul Productions and released by Lake Hope Features. The movie is being released worldwide this weekend.

Italians in Regrets in Tiber (By Romeitaliano)

Regrets in Tiber, the debut film from producer Romeitaliano, will be directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The film stars Michael Imperioli, after his success with Mafia (2009). Joining him will be Monica Bellucci as an Italian mother. The film is set in World War 2 Italy. Regrets in Tiber deals with the struggle of Italians during the war and the life of a mother in those times. It will be released by Lake Hope Features on May 28.

And Her Archnemesis? The Incredible Penicillin!

Movies are projects that are planned far ahead of time, months, sometimes years ahead of the actual filming. One plan appears to be scratched, if reports are to be believed. Troubled young star Lindsay Lohan, who appeared in The Kane Files and War Dogs in 2009, was being groomed for a superhero/villain role in an HTG movie. Unfortunately, thanks to legal problems, Lohan may not make the big screen in an action role.

"The name of the character wasn't finalized yet" stated an HTG Hollywood insider looking forward to her super role. "The Fantastic Freckle? Whitenose? The Mysterious Rash? Who knows. But if Lindsay's going to jail, as it appears, she might not be able to don that costume. Too bad. It would have been a hoot."

With so many superhero franchises owned by producers and studios, it would seem that Lohan's participation in one would be possible. Will she get out of her legal woes and be able to continue with her hopeful new role? HTG movie fans eagerly wait for the answer.

Oscar Winner to Star in Rookie Mistake (By Romeitaliano)

A new Lake Hope Features film, Rookie Mistake, is due to release on June 18. This thriller film will be starring Kevin Spacey as Donny, Chad Michael Murray as Michael and Giovanni Ribisi as Frank. Rookie Mistake is about a veteran assassin who works for a crime family. This Godfather-like film will be directed by Dito Montiel and shall be produced by Safron.

It's About Time. So How 'Bout Some Nachos in the Concession Stand?

The ownership of real properties for HTG use is a popular way of spending virtual cash. Some HTG citizens have extensive franchise libraries. Some have even paid high prices to own the franchises.

One of those citizens is Marlowe, who, personally and through his studio Miracle Pictures, has developed a nice collection of franchises. Television show Saturday Night Live is a part of that collection. Costing a hefty 250 million dollars, the opportunities available for SNL in HTG are great. However, no SNL feature or HTG TV show has been produced yet.

Thanks to an offer recently made by a long-time producer, a Saturday Night Live film may be coming to the big screen soon.

"We can't announce the possible film at this time" a rep from Miracle Pictures stated, "but we hope to before long. The pre-production process is a tricky one. We don't want to jump the gun."

HTG luminary PJFlip has announced the launch of a real TV network after running FBTV on HTGTV. 141tv.com is currently in testing and will be launched officially on May 21st. The site is well programmed and is great news for the HTG community as one of its members has created such a great site. The site will host films, web series, music videos and original videos.

Plot: Aliens arrived on Earth. In a flash, every government was destroyed along with 90% of the human population. The survivors have no idea why they were spared. The aliens have made no contact, and no one has seen one and lived to tell. Their ships fly overhead, reminding the unlucky survivors of their presence. The movie follows Samantha (Elizabeth Banks), who has attained a piece of alien tech, as she attempts to deliver the item to scientists working for the resistance. That is, if her own kind don't destroy her first.

Miracle Pictures Studio has just announced that it has purchased the franchise rights for television series 30 Rock. Created by and starring Tina Fey, the popular NBC comedy aired its pilot in 2006. Three and a half years later, the series continues strong. With a price of 50 million dollars, what does Miracle Pictures plan on doing with the property?

The studio isn't saying.

Rumor has it, however, that the interest in 30 Rock was rooted in a sub-series, Will Ferrell's Bitch Hunter. Representatives at MP are not confirming the hearsay.

Miracle Pictures chief Marlowe produces the DRTV show It's Always Me. 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan appears in IAM and Tina Fey had a guest role in the first season of the show.

TV Show Cast Expands, Producer and Net Chief Celebrate With Pie and Whipped Topping

The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Phyllis. The Last Picture Show. Young Frankenstein. Dancing With the Stars. Actress Cloris Leachman has worked on TV, film and the stage for fifty years. Despite her experience, and possessing more Emmy Awards than any other actress, Leachman has only appeared in one HTG project... as a guest on the Rogue TV series The Policeman.

Now the 84-year-old has landed a job with Devil Ray Television's continuing network series It's Always Me.

"We're thrilled to have Ms. Leachman aboard" a representative from DRTV stated. "Her wit, charm and professionalism will be an excellent addition to an already top-notch cast."

The exact role for the actress has not been announced yet. Speculation is that Leachman will portray Mrs. Patterson, the next door neighbor to the Razcynskis (series stars Jason Segel and Rashida Jones).

"We'll make the proper announcement when the time comes" concluded the rep.

Lake Hope Features recently leased the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise and many people have been wondering why. People can stop speculating, as some details have been leaked by the media. Among those leaks are a teaser image for the new film.

TMNT: Origins, the first in a planned animated trilogy, comes from rookie producer Sparckvalentine. It is said to be about the turtles as they navigate the rough waters of the city of Animalius, which is being controlled by a corrupt warlord.

The ensemble cast is being lead by Adrien Brody as Leonardo, James Roday as Michelangelo, Josh Holloway as Raphael, and Gbenga Akinnagbe as Donatello. Also featured in that cast is Jenny Wade as April O'Neill, Adam Baldwin as Shredder, Michael Emerson as Arscevin, Andy Serkis as Cameleon and Greg Grunberg as Fallon. JJ Abrams is currently attached as the director, and was choosen because of previous experience with CGI in Star Trek. Jimmy Heyward (RL Horton Hears a Who, Jonah Hex) and Brad Bird (Sonic) are apparently being considered as JJ's replacement if the need arises.

TMNT: Origins marks the first time that Lake Hope Features has released an animated film, and it will mark the first TMNT adaptation at HTG. The film is currently being animated at the Lake Hope Features lot, although rumors have been circling that the studio has rented animation space from a producer.

TMNT: Origins is being released June 11th by Lake Hope Features. Keep your eyes pealed for announcements/ads in the weeks leading up to the release.

Q's Got the News to Fight the Blues. Cha.

Are the streets safe for HTG residents? Some people will tell you - yes, they are safe, thanks to the dedicated yet dwindling HTG Police Force. But others - like a few high profile citizens - believe that the answer is NO - they are not safe - and those said residents are teaming up under the direction of Mark Pellington (Here Comes Science) for the new benefit event concert film BECAUSE GOOD PEOPLE GO BAD.

The event is being hosted by David Spade (The Good, The Bad, & The Harmer), Kelly Stables (RL Two and a Half Men) and Tony Todd (To The Edge). Because Good People Go Bad will feature performances from Rage Against the Machines, System of a Down, and Ice-T. All profits made on the film will be going towards the construction of a prison in the HTG Valley.

"It's nice that some celebs are finally taking action against a system that needs fixing," said one concerned HTG resident. "I mean, the High School already gets enough funding, why can't the prison systems get that same funding?"

As it currently stands, only a 11 million HTG dollars have been pledged towards building the prison - which is being estimated at 250 million dollars to build.

"If we can raise the amount to over a 100 million, then I think we've done our job correctly," said Mark Pellington. "This is a small incentive being driven by a selfless producer who is only concerned about the cause." Because Good People Go Bad is the first in a trilogy (the other two are "We Can't All Be Heroes" and "For Your Amusement", although a forth movie is being rumored to be in the works, making it a quadrilogy) of benefit event films from Raptor Inc. It will be coming out May 21st, with a studio to be announced soon.

Who Knows Where the Thing Really Lives. I Didn't Follow It Home, You Know.

What is it that makes living in the Malibu section of HTG Hollywood as great as it is?

The airport? The surf shop? The mansions?

Some would say that it's the unique items throughout that part of the city. After a recent visit to Malibu, an excited citizen explained to this reporter that there are some strange things there.

"There was this cat, see? It had these dark alien eyes. And it's mouth... Not a mouth that you'd see on a normal cat. But there is was, on the front wall of a mansion to the north. People passed by, not reacting to it. I guess they were used to the thing. But for me and my family? Wow! It was like some mad scientist combined a cat and some kind of extraterrestrial."

Visitors to Malibu are advised to not approach any unknown kinds of animals.

Chat Comments Cause Commotion

In perhaps the most shocking news ever recorded on this site, HTG Hollywood's Mayor Megan Fox has been accused of an association with drug manufacture at the local high school.

Here Comes Science, the recent Event film distributed by Ship of Fooles Studio, was created to fund a new science lab for Hollywood High School.

"Hopefully we'll get the high school a kick ass science lab" SoF chief Lucian Carter commented Tuesday night in HTG Chat.

However, the philathropy proposed may be a front for criminal activity. When asked if the new lab would manufacture crack and distribute it through the local gang, Lucian made a startling reply.

"Crack is a little hardcore" Lucian calmly stated. "Maybe LSD."

When a reporter from this site threatened to reveal this news to HTG Hollywood citizens, Lucian went further.

"I've already bought off the mayor."

Has Mayor Fox really become a part of this alleged criminal activity? According to Assistant Mayor R. Wilson, the accusation is absurd.

"This office," Mr. Wilson firmly said, "will investigate this fully. We're extremely confident that these comments are a smoke screen to harm the mayor's current projects. When she returns to town, we will have her make a statement concerning this. She may even seek action against Ship of Fooles. Hopefully we'll have this harmful situation resolved quickly."

On a further note, it has been pointed out that Mayor Fox has been out of the public eye for weeks. Her appearance in Here Comes Science was recorded. Is Miss Fox on an investigative trip, as she was a year ago? Or is she on a much needed vacation?

"We cannot comment on what Mayor Fox is doing at this time" explained the assistant mayor when questioned. "She'll be available soon. Until then, we will continue to implement her policies and hope that the citizens of this fine city behave in a proper manner."

Happening will stay in contact with the mayor's office in order to report Miss Fox's return as soon as it occurs.

A Flight to Alaska? "Ruh Roh" -- Mystery Solving Cartoon Dog

Prolific producer Mac the Movieguy is returning to the world visited in his 2008 movie Five Came Back with the film Survivor. Once again using director Paul Greengrass, Survivor follows Ellen Page's character Sara Williams. According to Mac:

"She's trying to move on with her life, and she's separated herself from the rest of the gang that survived. She's got new friends and a new boyfriend. Her boyfriend's sister is getting married in Alaska, and he's asking her to fly with him up there to see her. She reluctantly agrees."

Production is scheduled to finish soon, with an early summer opening.

"We're thrilled to see Mac continue this tale" commented Miracle Pictures chief Marlowe. "It would be nice to see further movies with this franchise."

An exact release date has yet to be confirmed for the film.
