Haven't I Seen That One Before?

It might sound familiar.

A movie based on a video game. Violence, car chases. All acted out by dogs.

It's the Grand Theft Dog movie series, right? Not this time.

October will see the first Saints Dog film, based on the Saints Row video games. According to producer Pedro, Saints Row is "weirder" than Grand Theft Auto, so the possibility for parody is greater.

Not everyone is looking forward to the new film. Miracle Pictures head Marlowe is annoyed at Pedro's new project.

"We already have Grand Theft Dog 3 in theatres" Marlowe begins. "Why have such a similar film out at the same time? And I can't help but think that it'll be basically the same thing, but with Pedro reaping the benefits instead of Miracle Pictures. The studio has gone to great lengths to make the GTD series a successful one. To have Pedro dilute that success with a competing set of films is questionable. I'm afraid I can't support any Saints Dog film."

When asked if he would seek legal action to prevent the release of Saints Dog, Marlowe remained silent.

Saints Dog, an Amyland Studios release directed by Jason Friedberg, will open on October 4.
