Movies Shown to Boost T-Levels

Did you know that movies can actually boost your testosterone levels? In a recent University of Michigan study, men were shown the scene from Godfather Part 2 where Vito Corleone mercilessly kills one of his enemies. That one scene made the guys’ testosterone levels rise by as much as 30%!

We all know high testosterone levels can make our muscles get ripped and our libido explode, and there are a lot of ways to help increase it -- especially as you age and levels decrease. Studies show working out, testosterone supplements and even red wine can help. So why not movies?

Here are some picks from HTG past for some of the best testosterone boosting movies ever:

TCW Destructive Energy (2009)

Why not start off the list with a good ol' wrasslin' movie? The documentary is the highest grossing of Lucian's TCW projects, with good reason. Such memorable matches as BLZ Bubb vs. Tommy Cornell for the Heavyweight Championship definitely get the heart pounding and raise testosterone levels. And a no-DQ handicap match with Ric Flair versus Lucian and Ritchie Steven? Watching the aging wrestling superstar and the two younger producers will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Hardwick 2: Double Trouble (2011)

Marlowe's second (and perhaps last) entry in the detective series, watching hardboiled yet casual Hardwick greases the testosterone with zest. The detective's confidence is an example of why film noir has survived for all of these decades.

Gates of Tartarus (2004)

It's difficult to believe that one of HTG Hollywood's early hits came out nine years ago! Tom Cruise, perhaps the world's top action star, led this fantasy full of action and adventure. Making just $211 million that year, it was enough to propel it into the top 5 of 2004.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008)

What could be more testosterone inducing than a movie with juice from enough fighting soldiers to fuel an aircraft carrier? Former resident DCE's first (and only) film release in HTG Hollywood, it featured plenty of action and explosions. It's a pity that it was not followed up with a sequel.

There are many more examples of HTG movies that could pump some more testosterone through the male population of the city. Do you have any in mind? Reply with your ideas!
