Don't Open That Door!

It is said that no one in HTG Hollywood thinks ahead as far as Pedro, chief of Amyland Studios and also Baseball Mogul Productions. With films scheduled months ahead of time, Pedro is without a doubt the most prolific writer in the city.

Rumor has it that Pedro is already looking at a sequel to Sharknado 2, even though the latter has not shown yet. Tentatively titled Sharknado 3: Beware the Land Shark, the movie is based on a series of Saturday Night Live sketches from the 70's. In the proposed film, a series of killings are performed by devious land sharks pretending to be plumbers or candy deliverymen.

But some observant movie watchers have noticed that the SNL franchise is not owned by either of Pedro's companies, but by Marlowe of Miracle Pictures. Being very protective of his properties, would Marlowe allow a film based on an SNL sketch?

"Don't forget," surmised a local movie fan, "that Marlowe has been very supportive of Sharknado 2. He even appears in the movie. Perhaps he worked out a deal for Pedro to use the Land Shark bit for a new installment."

Is Marlowe worried about how well his own studio's release will do on the same weekend? Miracle Pictures is showing Tesla's The Magician at the same time.

"Marlowe believes that there's room for multiple flicks" a Miracle Pictures rep explained. "He thinks both films will so well. At least he hopes!"

Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier and The Magician both open on October 18.

Western to Open, Will BBQ Be Sold at Theatre?

Twenty-seven-year-old Dane William DeHaan is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jesse on the HBO series In Treatment, his role as Andrew in the 2012 film Chronicle, and his supporting turns in the films Lawless (2012) and The Place Beyond the Pines (2013). His last HTG appearance was this year's Barton Hollow.

DeHaan will have a new film to add to his HTG credits, Horizon Pictures' A Son's Revenge. He will play Hugh Lambert, a man out to (surprise) gain revenge for his father's death.

"Westerns are an underused genre" stated a rep for producer Brianc2008. "We're excited to add this one to the list of Horizon Pictures films."

A Son's Revenge opens November 8.

Crazy for the Squared Circle!

Amanda Bynes has reportedly moved from Ingmar Bergman Memorial Hospital in HTG Malibu to a posh secret rehab facility to continue her medical treatment. Bynes is said to be “paranoid” about paparazzi attention and has been interacting very little with other patients.

She was recently placed under a long-term medical hold and legal conservatorship following several months of erratic behavior. Last week, it was revealed that she could spend up to the next 18 months in psychiatric care. This, according to her representatives, has caused the young actress some concern.

"Amanda wants the doctors to make sure she can take off for a little time in December," explained one of the reps. "She had a specific opportunity that month that she really wishes to take advantage of. She's doing whatever it takes to make sure that the time is given."

Specific opportunity in December? Some HTG insiders are guessing that Bynes is wanting to fly to Boston to take part of TCW XV, Horizon Pictures' next wrestling film that opens on December 20. Although no one from HP has confirmed this, it is known that Bynes is a big wrestling fan.

"I love wrestling!" declared Bynes at an interview earlier this year. "The athleticism, the spectacular, it's all so fun!"

Wrestling fans are eager to see who Horizon Pictures announces as their surprise guests for the attraction.

Bynes' last HTG movie role was in 2010's A Story About Life.

I Hope There's an Antidote For That!

Justin Bieber has thrown Horizon Picturs COO Brianc2008 out of his house after it was discovered that Brian does not have Bieber Fever as first declared. The two pals have been staying with each other at the pop star’s HTG Malibu mansion and throwing parties with dancing girls on a nightly basis.

"I was really just there for the 24-hour taco bar" stated Brian as he gathered his possessions. "Justin can be disappointed, I guess. The truth can hurt."

Bieber's nerves might also be on edge, because he has not heard from Amyland Studios yet if the parts that he filmed for Serial Killing for Dummies 7 made it to the final cut.

"He'll find out at the premiere like everyone else" declared Amyland head Pedro.

Bieber last appeared on HTG screens in Miracle Pictures' Poop: The Sequel as a stupid teenager that gets hit by a car while flying a kite.

The newest installment of Serial Killing opens on November 1.

"Cha" concluded Pedro.

Actor Thrills Kids, Proclaims Love for Rocky Road

Robert Pattinson recently stopped by the children's wing of Ingmar Bergman Memorial Hospital in HTG Malibu to spread some cheer to the patients and try his hand at some arts and crafts.

The star of the upcoming The Magician was kept secret until he appeared in the facility’s Teen Lounge. Pattinson decorated picture frames with patients, mocked his “terrible” artistic skills, posed for pictures and visited two fans with bieberfever who were unable to leave their rooms.

A hospital spokesperson stated that “Robert was so nervous about meeting the kids. He didn’t want to let them down, which is a testament to how humble he is.”

She added “He was incredibly gracious and kind. He will probably never fully understand what a huge lift he gave to these kids today, and how it will positively impact them over the long term.”

Pattinson will next appear in the Mad Scientist film The Magician on October 18.

Ian's a Badass in This! Woo Hoo!

With Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier arriving in October, Amyland Studios thought that it would be a good idea for movie goers to be acquainted with the first film (that appeared on Syfy here in the States). A five-minute compilation was created so that people would be in-the-know about all of the shark fun, but without all the bothersome drama between.

So here we go, the original Sharknado in five minutes. Enjoy!

Actress Explains Relationship With Producer

In an informal interview on Saturday with Happening reporter Buzz, actress Sandra Bullock opened up about her longtime friendship with Baseball Mogul producer Pedro and why the pair has never become more than pals.

She told Buzz "I think that we're probably the only two that haven't dated in the business. Maybe it's because we're too similar. Maybe what's different is too much. Or maybe it's because he's always with that dog Amy. That's a mood breaker!"

Surprisingly, Bullock has not appeared in an HTG film since 2006.

"I'm eating beans here, guys. Come on already and hire me!"

Peanut Butter? Yuk!

The Dark Horse has posted an ad for his new film, Lonely Hearts Club, a romantic comedy.

In the new film, two forty-something best friends return home to their old town for their 25th high school reunion. They get more than they bargained for when they encounter old friends, flames and possibilities.

Directed by Alexander Payne, the movie features Edward Norton, Amy Adams, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Charlize Theron. A release date has not been set.

Update: DH's pitch has been picked up by Miracle Pictures!

Studio Gains Film, Nacho Cheese is Delicious

Miracle Pictures has gained the rights to producer Tesla's next film The Magician. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the movie is tentatively scheduled for October 18.

"We're thrilled to be working with this exciting author" stated a representative from the studio. "His films have been great hits so far. We're looking forward to this being another."

Details of The Magician are expected soon.

From Someone Who Actually Enjoyed Pluto Nash and Owns It on DVD

Edward Regan "Eddie" Murphy is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, singer, director and musician. Despite the man's many talents, he has yet to appear in an HTG work.

Box-office takes from Murphy's films make him the second-highest grossing actor in the United States. He was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984 and has worked as a stand-up comedian. He was ranked number 10 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.

Eddie Murphy wanted a starring role in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. A part was written for him, but he ultimately disliked it and chose to make The Golden Child instead. Murphy later said this decision was a mistake. Star Trek is one of the highest grossing movie franchises in existence.

With all of the potential of a new Star Trek film, is franchise owner Miracle Pictures planning on bringing it to the HTG big screen?

"Miracle Pictures, both the studio and the production company, possesses a number of high-profile properties" explained a representative of the company. "When Marlowe saw the chance to own Star Trek, he jumped at it. Sure, he has ideas, but the writing would be time consuming and difficult in order to make it as good as it deserves. Will we ever see a Star Trek project in HTG Hollywood? We can hope. But it won't be for some time."

Poster Shown, Has Dog Holding Gun. Gosh!

The poster for Amyland Studios' Saints Dog has been revealed in an ad on the HTG forum. In the ad, actor Kevin Bacon makes fun of himself and gives a little information about the film.

Compliments, though, came for the poster. "We got some good poster makers" stated Horizon Pictures exec Brianc.

"Not as good as Sharknado 2, but still nice" commented Miracle Pictures chief Marlowe.

"I like raisins in my popcorn" said an unidentified HTG Hollywood resident.

Saints Dog opens on October 4.

Ten? Okay. I'll Give It a Ten. BAMMO!

Quentin Tarantino has acted in a few roles as late as 2011, but he hasn't directed an HTG film since 2006. That may change, according to a source, if Miracle Pictures as its way.

"Marlowe has had an idea for a film adaptation of a classic TV series for years," stated the source. "He's always running out of time to write it. But, if all goes as planned, we'll be seeing the new project early next year."

And the new project? The source isn't saying, and apparently neither is Marlowe. According to that source "He's told only one person in the past several years. Who knows if that producer remembers."

Known for the time being as "Project 34," Marlowe will add the film to his long list of works-in-progress.

"I am sure that Tarantino would appreciate the work" concluded the source.

Do You Have Sharknado Fever Yet?

October 18 is rapidly approaching. The release of Amyland Studio's Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier will be upon us soon, and fans of the new cult franchise are eager.

A new graphic novel has been inspired by the films, available soon in HTG Hollywood stores.

"It has all the action and gore of the first film and the upcoming sequel" explained artist Dropped Nutsac. "We have plenty of advance orders. We're hoping to get everyone up for the new film. The excitement is catchy!"

Pauley Perrette stars as the voice of Amy the Dog. Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier will open on October 18.

Wrestling Star Out, Will Spend Night Flicking Skittles at Neighbor's Cats

December 20's showing of TCW XV is still a few months away, but that hasn't stopped the speculation on who the special guests will be for the night of professional wrestling.

The latest rumor is that one of the finest female wrestlers in the business, Trish Stratus, will be included in the action.

"She's been in several film and TV versions of the franchise" pointed out a fan. "Having her there for this fifteenth film release would be quite entertaining."

Unfortunately for Stratus fans, she will not be there.

"Trish will remain out with a broken leg" explained an insider with Ship of Fooles Productions. "We'd love to have her compete, but her injury prevents that. Don't worry, though. Our card for the night will be packed with some great talent. It'll be a night to remember."

So, who can the special guests for the wrestling event be?

TCW XV, a Horizon Pictures release, opens on December 20.

Woo Hoo!

It took some prodding, but Pedro of Amyland Studios has finally posted an ad for The Man With Animal Powers!

Opening this very Friday, movie fans were curious why there had been no advertising for the film. According to the studio chief, "I do soon. Working on my own stuff, too."

But the last bit of encouragement helped. Will the new ad persuade voters to give the DC Comics-based film a good buzz? Or is it too little too late?

The Man With Animal Powers, a Mad Dog production, begins Friday.

Nothing to Quack Up About

Lee Harry, director of the upcoming Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier, had a unique obstacle with filming the movie. Actress Elizabeth Banks suffers from anatidaephobia.

Anatidaephobia is the pervasive fear that, somewhere in the world, a duck is watching you. The person believes that no matter where they are or what they are doing, a duck is watching them.

The people who possess this phobia have suffered some sort of trauma in their lives, likely when he or she was a child. This trauma probably had to do with a duck or some sort of related water fowl, like a goose. Perhaps the person was attacked by one of these animals.

In the case of Banks, she was attacked by a duck at a park when she was a child.

Some of the symptoms of this phobia include an anxiety or panic attack. This results in a dry mouth, shortness of breath, muscle tension, hyperventilation, etc.

In order to film Sharknado 2, Banks made sure that there would be no ducks or duck-like animals near her at any time. Harry agreed and was able to work around her needs.

"It's a little funny" explained Harry. "The film is about getting attacked by sharks. But Elizabeth is more concerned with a fairly harmless bird."

Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier 2, an Amyland Studios release, opens on October 18.

Thank You. Thank You Very Much.

Recently a question was posted on this HTG news source: With Britney Spears now committed to a two-year singing deal in Las Vegas, how would she be able to take up ring announcing duty for TVW XV in Boston?

According to a source connected to a production, she won't be. However, the source stated that two special guests are planned.

New question: Who are those special guests?

"I'm betting one will be the Honky Tonk Man," guessed a wrestling fan at a recent meeting. "He just announced that he will go on his farewell tour soon. An appearance at a TCW event would be a nice feather in his finale."

Wrestling fans are glued to the upcoming announcement from Horizon Pictures. If the former WWE champion will be a guest, we'll learn then.

TCW XV premieres on December 20.

At Least He Doesn't Have to Go Back to at Job a Carl's Jr. Cooking Fries

Neil Patrick Harris hosted the Emmy Awards for the second time on Sunday, but it sounds like it could be his last time, at least for a while. On Monday, the actor tweeted, “Emceeing the Emmys was fun, but I’m sure glad it’s over. Looking forward to not hosting anything for a long time and getting to work on the new season of It's Always Me."

In the series, Harris portrays Dodge Casall, executive at AFC, the parent company of Autospouse.

"I can't believe it's season 12 already. How time flies!"

The new session of HTG TV begins in October.

To Hair is Human, Toupee Divine

Rashida Jones has apologized for an interview in which she suggests that John Travolta stop wearing hairpieces and accept that he's balding.

The actress and her Saints Dog co-stars Kat Dennings and Lizzy Caplan recently spoke about their upcoming film, and conversation turned to Rashida's father, famed music producer Quincy Jones, who is balding.

"There needs to be more men who accept their hair loss" said Jones. "It would make things so much easier for men everywhere, even women who are balding."

A few days later, however, Jones backed away from her remarks.

"It's John's business how he deals with his hair, or lack of it. I apologize. No one's personal life is my business."

Jones, one of the stars of HTG TV's series It's Always Me, will voice dog Asha in the video game film Saints Dog, which opens October 4.

Let's Get Ready to Oops! I Did It Again

Britney Spears announced her much-anticipated Las Vegas residency this weekend, revealing she’ll headline at Planet Hollywood for the next two years. The pop star’s show is called Piece of Me, and will entail 50 shows over the two-year period. Spears flew to Las Vegas in a helicopter... where she says she “got sick”... to greet fans in the desert and make her big announcement. The singer said she’ll perform old and new songs during the concerts. Piece of Me kicks off in December.

The question now asked by professional wrestling fans is, if Britney's needed for TCW XV, will she be available for ring announcing duties?

Spears has appeared at two TCW pay-per-views and during two seasons of the television show. With TCW XV scheduled for Boston on December 20, shortly after her Vegas show begins, how will she be able to do both jobs?

"I don't think she can," stated wrestling insider and former Happening columnist Wrestling Boy. "Besides, who knows if she's even needed? There are plenty of people out there qualified to announce. Heck, there are a lot of people better qualified. If I was Lucian, I'd get someone like Charlie Murphy or Chris Tucker. There's talent! Much better than Britney or Pamela Anderson."

As the Christmas holiday approaches, we will see whom Lucian has chosen as ring announcer, Britney or not.

Actress Rumored to Get Plastic Surgery, Has Trouble Drinking Kool-Aid Through a Straw

Another rumor has surfaced this weekend. Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has received plastic surgery!

According to a medical source who wished to remain anonymous, "LiLo had some work done on her lips to make them more full. Now they're thick and luscious!"

A representative of Lohan, though, denies the rumor.

"Lindsay is still a young woman" the rep stated. "There is absolutely no reason for her to have plastic surgery and there's absolutely no truth that she had it done!"

Lohan last appeared in 2012's Reborn. Does she think that some cosmetic work will help her work again?

"Although movie goers do tend to flock to the beautiful," a film viewer said recently at a local theatre, "I think that Lohan's looks were good enough. It would be said if she felt that she needed the work done."

Do you feel that Lindsay Lohan has had plastic surgery?

Shake It, But Don't Break It

More details are emerging concerning the new construction in downtown HTG Hollywood.

One of the new businesses will be an exercise studio, stocked with a gym, pool and numerous rooms for exercise classes. Although unnamed at this time, one of the proposed exercise classes will be called Shakin' With Sheldon. Inspired by the Jim Parsons character from The Big Bang Theory, the class description promises a moderate workout that sweats off the pounds using modern dance steps.

"It's not high impact, so everyone should be able to join in" explained a representative of the club. "We hope that everyone in town gets a chance to check it and our other offerings out."

An open date for the exercise studio has yet to be determined.

Actor Comments on Rumor, Proclaims Love for Snickers Bars

Rumors are abundant in many aspects of life. In the entertainment industry, they are abundant.

The latest gossip to pass through HTG Hollywood concerns to stars of The Man With Animal Powers, Billy Zane and Lucy Hale. According to a source in the movie business, the two have fallen in love and are planning to move to a modest home near Big O Lake as soon as possible.

"They're nuts about each other" declared the source. "They've been waiting to do some press for their film, but haven't been given a call yet. I guess Amyland doesn't want to advertise their upcoming film. Anyway, the time together made them grow close... very close."

The truth is, the pair, although friendly, are not in love and definitely are not moving in together.

"That's a hoot" answered Zane during a recent interview. "I like Lucy, but... I hate to say it... I'm far too old for her. She's nice and all, but I require someone a bit older. Someone that I would have more things in common with. Some shared experiences. Sorry, but that rumor is off base by a mile."

When asked about the lack of advertising for the film, Zane seemed disappointed.

"You'd figure that there'd be an ad somewhere. But there's not. The only promoting that I see for The Man With Animal Powers are some blurbs on Marlowe's news blog. It's rather disappointing. I hope that changes soon. The movie is in buzz after all!"

The Man With Animal Powers, a Mad Dog production, will be released by Amyland Studios this Friday.

Late Actor to Appear in One More Film

Dennis Farina died in July after suffering a blood clot in his lung. He was 69. Perhaps best known for Law & Order, Farina was a police officer in Chicago for 18 years before becoming an actor. Over the course of his career, Farina starred in films like Midnight Run, Get Shorty, and Saving Private Ryan, and appeared on television shows such as Miami Vice and New Girl. He also served as host of Unsolved Mysteries. His last previous HTG credit was 2010's Writer's Block.

Fortunately for fans of the late actor, he will get one more opportunity to be on the big screen in HTG Hollywood. December 27 will see the opening of ALS' Falling at My Own Pace. Directed by Sam Mendes, the film concerns a man named Jake (played by Josh Brolin) who, although he seems to have it all, finds himself on a rooftop considering jumping.

"We've got it set as our big Christmas film" explained an Amyland executive. "It's heavy drama that I am sure will engage the viewers."

Hubba Hubba on the Weather!

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

If Scarlett Johansson wishes to retire from acting, perhaps a job reporting weather could be in her future?

When weatherman Al Roker recently lost his voice, actress, on the set to promote the filming of ALS' The Black Widow, stepped in.

"Unfortunately, I don't think people could focus on the map with her standing so close" remarked a recovered Roker. "But, still, it was nice of her to lend a hand. I'm grateful."

Johansson will appear as The Black Widow on December 13. Directed by Pedro favorite Zack Snyder, the film also stars Deborah Ann Woll, Edward Norton and Alan Tudyk.

Actress Plugs Film by Announcing Sequel, Enjoys Snacking on Skittles

In an update to our previous post, actress Anna Kendrick claims that Amyland Studios has been too busy to advertise The Man With Animal Powers, because they're already in the middle of filming The Man With Animal Powers 2: Bad Kitty.

"You know that with Pedro's love of sequels, it was bound to happen" stated Kendrick. "This one will feature multiple characters with creature powers. I personally play Kitty Lidder, a foe of Animal Man. We're going a little lower on the special effects budget this time, but I think that the strength of the story will shine through."

A date has not been scheduled yet for The Man With Animal Powers 2. The original will air this upcoming Friday.

"I might show up with my Kitty makeup" remarked Kendrick. "That ought to freak some people out!"

Kendrick will next hit the HTG screens in the western A Son's Revenge on November 8.

Ooh! A Snake! Now a Horse! Is That a Tsetse Fly?

The reactions of movie viewers probably say it all.

"Animal what? I haven't heard of that one."

"The Man with what? Beats me."

Despite entering a week of buzz voting, the advertising for Mad Dog's action film The Man With Animal Powers is non-existent. What is the film about? Who is playing what roles? Isn't it the duty of the producer and/or the studio to let us know?

One theory proposed to this reporter is that it's a blatant rip-off of the 80's television show Manimal that appeared briefly on NBC. That show centered on the character Dr. Jonathan Chase (Simon MacCorkindale), a shape-shifting man who possessed the ability to turn himself into any animal he chose. He used the ability to help the police solve crimes.

Questions to Amyland Studios have been unanswered as of this writing.

"I guess they just want poor buzz for the film," surmised a local movie fan. "I think the press has mentioned the movie more than ALS. Crazy, huh."

The Man With Animal Powers is scheduled to open next Friday.

Spin Yourself to Fame and Cash!

Opportunities exist for healthy young men and women to be a part of the entertainment storm called Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier. Amyland Studios has commissioned local artist Stepson Ballsac to construct special tornadoes to be worn at local theatres, restaurants and events to promote the movie. Applicants must be in good condition and be able to turn in place for many minutes at a time without getting dizzy or throwing up.

"It's a good chance to be a part of this exciting film" stated a representative from Amyland. "We've got a couple of these costumes already out there and the people are really enjoying them. We'll need a half dozen more people to help us out. We're looking forward to speaking with interested people!"

Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier opens October 18.

Second Job Means Lots of Pretzel Eating Time for Actress

Despite appearing in over 200 films for Baseball Mogul Productions, actress Parker Posey has found the need to get a second job. Now serving as a librarian here in HTG Hollywood, Posey is taking her tasks very seriously.

"She's an asset to the library" explained her supervisor, Head Librarian George Smoots. "She can stamp dates like there's no tomorrow. And she's crazy organized. I'd hate to think where we'd be without her."

"It doesn't pay a lot, but I could use the cash," Posey commented. "If only Baseball Mogul would make more films. I'd be sitting pretty. But, alas, I can only accept what I am offered."

Will Posey return in Serial Killing for Dummies 7?

"I don't know" the actress concluded. "We'll just have to wait to see if Pedro does the right thing."

Serial Killing for Dummies 7 opens November 1.

Actress Remembers Bad First Encounter With Producer

Judy Greer says it was definitely not "friendship at first sight" when she first met megaproducer Pedro. Recently the Sharknado 2 actress recounted the pair's disasterous first meeting, including an allergic reaction to Pedro's cologne.

"His cologne smelled of death," Greer explained. "It's difficult to explain. We were sitting at the restaurant, across from each other, and I couldn't get the stench out of my nostrils. I'm sure he could tell that I was rather uncomfortable. It was just a 'get to know you, let's work together' meeting. I thought that he might notice how bad off I was and offer to take me home. But no. He kept saying 'cha' and 'babo wabo in cabo sabo' and the like. I was dying."

"Eventually he did take me home. I think he thought things were going well, so he leaned in for a friendly kiss on the cheek. That brought the smell of his cologne in closer. I couldn't take it any longer. I heaved all over him. After the shock wore off, he asked me if I had ate something bad at the restaurant. I explained no, that it was his cologne. It smelled like monkey balls."

"The crazy thing is, that's what the name of the cologne was. Monkey Balls, a part of his personal line of fragrances."

"Well, the first meeting faded to just a bad memory. Pedro has put me into multiple projects, each with success. We're good friends now. Who knew, huh."

Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier opens on October 18.

Down Ladies, He's Spoken For

Producer/Megastar Chris Harmer was nearly crushed today by adoring female fans as he left the grocery store. The Canada native only had to walk about ten steps from the store's exit to an awaiting car but, without security by his side, he was mobbed by dozens of screaming young women.

"I forgot what a sensation an action star can be in HTG Hollywood" Harmer commented. "Back in the day I would have really appreciated that, and I still do to some extent, but I'm a married man now. I'm off the market. Sorry, ladies. Come see my movies!"

Harmer is the subject of two upcoming science fiction films by competing producers. Old ally Teufel is penning Harmercide, a mixture of The Sixth Day and Glee. Marlowe is writing a post apoc film that has not yet been titled.

As for Harmer's writing, he has been hired by Miracle Pictures to bring a new Die Hard film to theatres.

"It's not easy being me," concluded Harmer with a smile. "But someone has to be me. It might as well be, well, me."

Film Finds Schedule, Pop Tarts Are Tasty

A new addition has been made to the release calendar, an arthouse film titled No Looking Back. A release by Horizon Pictures, it is the first film by new HTG Hollywood resident Sarge.

Professional hitman Karl Reins finds himself standing in the lobby of a large, expensive looking hotel. He doesn't remember how he got there. Nor does he know why he's there. But, the girl at the desk seems to know more than she is letting on. And she was very particular about which elevators he should use.

Once Karl uncovers why he is there, will he get out alive? Will he care to?

No Looking Back is scheduled for October 11. Good luck to Sarge on his first HTG endeavor!

Rehab Visit Aids Actor

Representatives for Zac Efron recently announced that five months ago, the 25-year-old actor finished his time in a rehab center for an undisclosed problem.

"He's doing great now," explained the rep. "He's happy, he's cheerful. It's as if he never had the problem to begin with."

Efron's next big screen appearance will be in Miracle Pictures' Grave Robbers, directed by Wes Craven. In the film, Efron portrays Peter, a cemetery thief new to the "business" under the eye of Evan, played by Rob Schneider.

"Creepy best describes it" said a studio staffer. "It's not a slasher type of horror flick. Rob and Zac have put together great performances."

Although the reason for the rehab stint is unknown, an associate of Efron's stated that it might have been something as simple as eating.

"He was packing on the pounds eating at Flip Brothers Pizza six times a week. He knew that he had to get off the pizza and back into shape. His career would suffer otherwise."

Grave Robbers will be released in time for Halloween.

Actor in the Dumps, Refuses to Drink His Ovaltine

Friends fear that Jim Carrey is headed for a nervous breakdown, according to recent rumors in HTG Hollywood.

“Jim has suffered from severe depression in the past, and you have to worry those fearful days are coming back again,” a close source” states. "He hasn't appeared on the HTG big screen in two years. He used to be one of the city's darlings, but now he's at a low point. He needs to get to work desperately."

Another source claims “He’s in a fragile emotional state. Pals fear for his future. Unless someone puts him into a movie, who knows what will happen."

"There are more than a couple awards dealing with Carrey" states an HTG Talent Headquarters representative. "Maybe that will encourage producers to think about him."

It's Official!

After weeks of heated negotiations, an agreement has been made. Marlowe of Miracle Pictures has agreed to appear in his first film for Baseball Mogul Productions. And what a film it is! The new project is a sequel to SyFy's surprise hit Sharknado, to open in October. After years of requests by Pedro to appear in one of his movies, Marlowe finally agreed to be in this one.

"I've always been hesitant about being in one of Pedro's crazy films" remarked the long-time resident of HTG Hollywood. "Who knows what he'd have me do. Make out with a dog? Fight a tiger in a gladiator outfit? Crazy. But when I saw that his new movie was going to be a Sharknado film, I leaped at the possibility. I can hardly wait to see the finished product!"

A new cast includes not only HTG producers, but stars of the infamous Roads Masterson films. Pauly Shore returns as Jizzmopper, who was tragically killed in an earlier film. How will Pedro justify his presence? And Luke Perry once again plays ass-kicking troubleshooter Roads Masterson.

According to a rep from Amyland Studios, production is still in session, so details of the movie are still sketchy. It's this reporter's hope that more information will be available soon.

Until then, the thought of a Sharknado-Roads crossover is almost too much to handle!

Sharknado 2: Sharknadoier opens October 18.

Muppet Tickles His Way Through City

Movie pitches come and go. Some are accepted, others are not.

The latest rumored pitch floating around HTG Hollywood is for the Muppets franchise, owned by Ship of Fooles Productions. Tentatively titled "Elmo's Fantastic Visit to Manhattan," the story follows the lively red Muppet as he explores the city. He is assisted by two friends, portrayed by Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.

"There will be some singing involved," said an insider who has read the proposal. "There will be a little mystery and intrigue, too. It's just a matter of the pitch being accepted. I think it will be a win for everyone involved."

Questions to Ship of Fooles have not been returned as of this writing.

Don't We Always Have Pepperoni?

Some days it doesn't pay to try to get even.

As reported in this news source previously, executives at Miracle Pictures Studio were annoyed by the announcement of Saints Dog, a movie based on the video game Saints Row. According to Miracle Pictures, the new film mirrors the Grand Theft Dog movies, a profitable series for the studio. Both sets of films are Pedro-authored films that feature dogs in acting rows. Miracle Pictures felt that a new such series would dilute the profitability of its product.

After discussions with their legal team, Miracle Pictures decided not to halt Saints Dog's October release with a lawsuit.

"We decided to take the high road" a Miracle Pictures representative explained.

No lawsuit, however, does not mean that action hadn't been planned. According to an anonymous source at the studio, another course had been initiated.

"The studio was on the fast track to get a new film written" the source stated. "It would be a counter to Saints Dog called Call of Doodie, based on the Call of Duty game series. It would star animals also, but not necessarily dogs. Squirrels were the initial choice, but that hadn't been nailed down yet. Thirty pages had been written. The studio guys upstairs were tickled pink, but then they got the bad news. The Call of Duty franchise is owned by Pedro. There's no way that the Baseball Mogul people would allow CoD to be used to hurt them. So the project was sadly scrapped."

Will some other action be taken, with that option gone?

"I don't know" concluded the insider. "I haven't heard anything, but I'm usually not the first person to know."

Saints Dog, an Amyland studios release, opens October 4.

It's Agreed -- Soup is Good Food

Meetings have been held at the Miracle Pictures Productions office with Bobb'e J. Thompson, according to a source in the company. The seventeen-year-old actor is in talks to have a guest role in the upcoming season of It's Always Me, the HTG TV series penned by MP head Marlowe.

"Bobb'e worked with us on last year's Speak Like a Child" the source stated. "He had a small, but impactful part. It will be a pleasure to work with him again."

Although the role that Thompson would take was not mentioned, it was explained that the last of the meetings was shared with Tracy Morgan, one of the stars of the series. Could there be a relationship between the motel operator and Thompson's character?

"I guess we'll have to wait for the season to start to find out" the MP source remarked.

Few in the world would deny that supermodel/TV hostess/talent judge Heidi Klum is one of the world's most beautiful women. Despite that, Miss Klum has yet to appear in anything in HTG Hollywood. According to the HTG movie database, she has not been in a single HTG film or television show.

Representatives of Klum have devised a rather daring scheme. Using technology developed originally for merging animals as unique pets, the HTG transmorgifier has been adapted to clone the model. Now existing as four separate entities, its the hope of the Klum camp that the extra copies will allow her to work 24/7. Instead of directors needing to wait for makeup to be completed, wardrobes to be finished or even rest and eating time, a fresh Klum can take over immediately after one is through with a scene.

"It's pretty daring" stated an industry insider. "I think that they forgot something... It's going to cost extra money to pay bills. Heidi doesn't eat a lot, but that's three extra mouths to feed. She does like nice clothes. Now there will need to be extra outfits... and they won't be cheap. I don't think producers will be willing to pay extra for the convenience of having clones."

A call to the talent representative for HTG Hollywood concerning the feasibility of the cloning action was not returned as of this writing.

Will Actor Cost Studio?

Baseball Mogul Productions continues its Dead Island franchise series with the opening of Dead Island DC this weekend. Being a fan of repeated visits to its properties, will this entry be a financial success for Amyland Studios?

The last film, Return to Dead Island, managed only $127,191,687 domestically. Although not a complete failure, that amount required more to be considered a true success.

To stress the need for a good gross on Dead Island DC, Pedro has hired none other than Tom Cruise for the film. Appearing in the fourth talent slot, the actor's current Talent Score is 16.764. That means, if that stays the same until the end of the movie's run, the film will require a domestic gross of $167,640,000 to keep Cruise happy... $40 mil more than the predecessor. The ensuing fine would be around $2 million if the latest movie grosses the same as the one before. That's not a lot of money for a big studio.

But what if the movie does not do well? Cruise's employment could end up costing Amyland much more. With budgets growing more tight with each production, can the studio afford to make Tom Cruise unhappy?

Dead Island DC opens this Friday.

To Cha or Not to Cha

The new season of Dancing With the Stars began tonight. While many middle-aged housewives across this nation were thrilled, one HTG producer was not. Despite being under threat of a lawsuit himself, Pedro of Baseball Mogul Productions is planning one of his own.

"Those at Dancing With the Stars are infringing on my primary catchphrase" declared Pedro in HTG Chat after the show ended. "Everyone knows that 'cha' is mine. I came up with it. Yet those DWTS kept saying 'cha cha cha' over and over. At one million dollars per use, they owe me at least fifty-four million dollars. I want it, and I want it now!"

"Good luck on that" was one response by a fellow chatter. "I say cha all the time without paying you" said another.

"I know" replied Pedro. "By my record, you owe me one hundred and twenty-four million."

Stay tuned to this news site for further developments.

Name Change Comes to Actress, Enjoys Afternoon Hot Chocolate

The hearts of numerous males sunk when mega-babe actress Jessica Biel married mega-talented Justin Timberlake. Biel, who last appeared in 2012's Frosty the Snowman, has finally been able to make one more change to her life... by taking the last name of her husband. Now legally Jessica Timberlake, she still plans on going by Biel in her career. Thus, she can still be found under "B" in the HTGmdb.

"Now I hope that I stop getting those late-night calls from that strange caller" the actress commented recently. "Every other night or so, some unknown male calls me and says weird things, like "cha cha charino" and "There's a penis between us, Jessie-poo." It's quite unnerving.

Little-known rules, procedures and trivia from HTG Hollywood

"I Like/Love Ponies" is a seldom-used procedure from the days in Film-Mogul.

Movie and television advertisements for HTG projects are under the charge of the person running the ad. If someone "hijacks" the ad with their own post unrelated to the ad, or if it demeans the project advertised ("This movie will suck!"), the original poster can ask an admin to remove the offending post. That post can, of course, start its own thread, which will remain intact (unless it is truly offensive to the general public).

The original poster can also, for a small fee donated to a city project, have the offending message's text changed to something else. (It cannot, in itself, be offensive.) For example, FM operator Josh Nesi enjoyed changing an offensive message to "I like ponies." Other possibilities include "Wow, this movie will rock!" and "Have you had that new Big Kahuna burger? It's delicious!"

The key is to allow a person to advertise his movie or show in his own thread without interruption. Anything that you have to say negative about the project should appear in your own thread or even in an editorial in an HTG news source.

Haven't I Seen That One Before?

It might sound familiar.

A movie based on a video game. Violence, car chases. All acted out by dogs.

It's the Grand Theft Dog movie series, right? Not this time.

October will see the first Saints Dog film, based on the Saints Row video games. According to producer Pedro, Saints Row is "weirder" than Grand Theft Auto, so the possibility for parody is greater.

Not everyone is looking forward to the new film. Miracle Pictures head Marlowe is annoyed at Pedro's new project.

"We already have Grand Theft Dog 3 in theatres" Marlowe begins. "Why have such a similar film out at the same time? And I can't help but think that it'll be basically the same thing, but with Pedro reaping the benefits instead of Miracle Pictures. The studio has gone to great lengths to make the GTD series a successful one. To have Pedro dilute that success with a competing set of films is questionable. I'm afraid I can't support any Saints Dog film."

When asked if he would seek legal action to prevent the release of Saints Dog, Marlowe remained silent.

Saints Dog, an Amyland Studios release directed by Jason Friedberg, will open on October 4.

You Can't Say That!

HTG Hollywood's Chief Administrator of Conversational Media, Czartim, has recently added more words to his list of forbidden ones to be used in HTG Chat. Citing past arguments among residents as the reason, some citizens are unhappy with the new additions.

"C'mon!" declared one chatter who wished to remain anonymous. "Some of these words come up organically in perfectly reasonable conversations. Banning them is ridiculous and unnecessary."

New words added to the list include: Butt muffin, lettuce sniffer, prune danish, tony danza, fragrance, frogrance and chesper. They join previously added words that include: Nixon, castradiction, rabbit nuggets and hurts donut. For a full list of forbidden words, please visit the chat site.

"I just hope that someone takes a look at this so-called helpful list and does something about it," continued the chat member. "If I can't talk about smelling Iceberg, what's the point about being in chat? Some people are just too sensitive."

Actress Likes Producer, But Won't Share All You Can Eat Ice Cream Card

Pedro of Baseball Mogul Productions has increased his stable of Friendly Talent. Thanks to her performances in I Know What You Did Last Summer 2, Lollipop Chainsaw 2 and Grim and Scooby, actress Lizzy Caplan has decided to give discounts for her work to the prolific producer.

"I appreciate having all the work" Caplan explained. "And, thanks to the successes of the films, I enjoy having my asking amount increase. I hope that Baseball Mogul takes advantage of my new status by putting me into more films!"

Fortunately for other producers in HTG Hollywood, Caplan will not be exclusive to Pedro. Anyone may hire her, but not at a discount.

When will Pedro, through Baseball Mogul and also Amyland Studios, stop grabbing Friendly Talent statuses for performers?

"He says he'll do it as long as he can" stated a representative of the talent system in the city. "It's costing him a lot of money, but it does help him save money for all of the productions he has in the works. Besides, it's a collecting hobby, I guess, like stamps or beer cans from foreign brews. I personally collect butterflies gathered from the Big O Lake/HTG Hollywood sign area, but that's me. To each his own."

Movie Slammed by Crybabies Who Don't Enjoy Violent Lesbian Dogs

Miracle Pictures Studio and Baseball Mogul Productions have angered the activists at PETA with the movie Grand Theft Dog 3 because of using trained dogs. In the film, a number of canines interact with each other and humans, quite often in a profane and violent manner.

PETA says in a statement provided to the press that "Animals used for entertainment endure horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods. They become stressed and anxious when hauled around and forced into unfamiliar or frightening situations. Often they resort to drugs and prostitution to dull the pain in their lives. Some dogs have even gone so far as to run for political office. No one wants to see that.”

The organization adds that it believes that the dogs used for the movie came from a breeding company that has "been inspected by the USDA two dozen times since 2004."

Miracle Pictures has not replied yet to the accusations. A representative from Baseball Mogul stated "Cha. We go bobo on our peepo."

Slow News? No Problem!

It's a slow news evening here at the Happening office, so we've decided to post a picture of the gorgeous and delightful Rashida Jones.

The actress, who is appearing in the recently released Cloud City, is best known in HTG Hollywood for her many seasons in the HTG TV series It's Always Me.

"Our Editor in Chief has a crush on her," stated a Happening staff member, "but he isn't admitting it. That's okay. Half of us feel the same way. The others are fans of that gal from the Taco Frisco commercial, whatever her name is. Something about the way the taco sauce drips from the corner of her lips."

Actor Reaches Milestone

After receiving largely negative reviews earlier this year for his participation in the Baseball Mogul film S***balls, James Franco has redeemed himself in another BM movie. The Horizon Pictures release Grim and Scooby, where Franco voices cartoon slacker Shaggy, has left HTG theatres with a whopping $240,485,733 domestic gross. Holding acting slot number three in the cast list, Franco's Talent Score has made it to 10.671, now granting him a membership in the unofficial Ten Plus Club.

"James is naturally thrilled to have reached this point" a friend of the actor's commented. "This was his third time voicing Shaggy, a role that he finds great fun with. He's open for a fourth time, any time."

A great boost to the bank account for fledgling Horizon Pictures, is the studio looking to get Franco more work?

"I think that they would hire him again" a studio staffer stated. "If he's right for the role, sure. He has some range, especially drama and comedy. Who knows, we might see Franco in a scifi epic some day."

The next Horizon Pictures release, Absent Delirium, opens today.

Ouch! That Must Have Hurt!

Lucy Hale was knocked to the ground by a motorcyclist recently outside of the Roosevelt Hotel in HTG Hollywood. Sadly, the actress was still on the sidewalk and the bike rider skipped the curb to get an autograph. Both parties hit the ground.

Hale looked a bit bruised, but didn't think that medical treatment was necessary. The police were called to give a ticket to the motorcyclist. They are treating the incident as an accident, and no criminal charges are being filed.\

Unfortunately for the rider, he left without getting the autograph.

Miss Hale next appears in The Man With Animal Powers, a Mad Dog production being released by Amyland Studios on September 27.

If You Commision It, They Will Stare At It

Kevin Costner is being sued for an undisclosed sum by the artist of a statue commissioned for a park in HTG Hollywood. According to court documents made available this afternoon, Costner hired artist Paula Lindorf to create a statue for the ornamental pond at Godfather Park. The agreement was that if the statue was not at the park, the new location would be agreed upon by the pair.

However, two years after the large sculpture was completed, it sits on property owned by Costner.

"I didn't create the statue for the ego of a single man" explained Lindorf. "I wanted all of the residents of this city to be able to enjoy it."

In response, a representative for Costner gave a reason why the statue was not at the park.

"There's some old guy walking around, I guess lost. Mr. Costner didn't want old man spittle all over the work of art. So he's keeping it at his place until either the old man leaves or a new location is determined... hopefully without deranged geriatrics roaming around."

Costner's next work is Horizon Pictures' A Son's Revenge, which he directs. His only other directing job in HTG Hollywood has been 2005's Blaze of Glory.

Actress Avoids Getting Squashed

Actress Kat Dennings was recently photographed cutting off a school bus while riding her bicycle. When questioned about the faux pas, Dennings seemed surprised.

"School bus? I didn't see any school bus. They need to make those things bigger and paint them some bright color so that you can see them better."

Fortunately, the bus driver saw Dennings in time and hit the brake.

The actress will next appear in ALS' Dead Island DC, the fourteenth installment of the franchise. She will portrays a woman named Sarah, a professional wexler who has moved to Washington D.C. in order to pursue a career as a political commercial hand model. She makes new friends, including superstars Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, who form a group to raise late President Richard Nixon from the grave to save the country.

"Turns out that the joke's on them" stated a representative from Amyland Studios. "Nixon's buried in California."
