TMNT: Origins opens this Friday.

At Least He Wasn't Falling Down Drunk. Well, Not THAT Drunk.
Viewers of 24: The Movie were given a treat last week when star Kiefer Sutherland decided to make some statements before the show. Besides covering possible new projects in HTG Hollywood, the actor had a grievance... 24 did not do well at the box office. Not only did it manage to take in only $87,458,719 domestically, that figure was $636,281 less than what was expected for him. His Talent Score lowered to 5.867.
The actor's words would perhaps have had more meaning... if more than three people were at the showing.
Because of a retooling of the negative reactions of talents because of exiting films, Sutherland will not land on 21st Century Cat's list of unhappy actors.
"We're working on the changes and should have it all figured out soon" a talent coordinator for the city commented when questioned.
Performing better at the box office was Trax's City of Knowledge. Sir Anthony Hopkins finally joined the Ten Plus Club with a TS rise to 10.294. And, although not getting numbers approaching the Star Wars films, James McAvoy's score rose to 12.569.
"McAvoy is one of those HTG oddities" the HTG talent spokesperson explained. "Although his real world demand isn't in the top ten percent, his HTG calling is. In a starring role, he gets more than 12 million dollars, thanks to the fans here. That's more than Sir Hopkins!"
With a good start to the summer movie season, prospects for more TS increases are expected.

Questions to Be Answered Soon, According to Mayor's Office
Recently a photograph was given to Happening of what was possibly Mayor Megan Fox. Has our city's leader returned? Or is HTG Hollywood still without Miss Fox's guidance?
According to Assistant Mayor R. Wilson...
"Yes, Mayor Fox is back in the city after a vital trip away. Miss Fox would like to thank the residents of HTG Hollywood for their patience. She knows that there are a lot of questions to be answered. A press conference will be held soon covering those questions. All will be answered then."
What sort of answers will the mayor have? Why was she gone? Was was she gone from the city for so long? Will she remain mayor to continue some of the policies that she began?
Happening will report any news from the mayor's office as soon as it develops.

Hoo Ha! Al Pacino Joins First Mac Studios Release (Thanks, Mac)
Award-winning actor Al Pacino will be leaving the HTG Police Force immediately to star alongside Will Smith in the new Mac Studios release Witness. Recently, megaproducer Mac the Movieguy acquired an arthouse studio and has wasted no time in getting a release into theatres.
Witness follows the story of a homeless man (Will Smith) who witnesses a crime, and Pacino plays the lead detective investigating. Joe Carnahan (Narc) directs this drama. Witness is scheduled to hit theatres on July 2nd, a welcome home for Will Smith, who is quite used to opening films on the July 4th weekend.

Clip Gives Rise to Film Rumors
Speculation concerning a new Nicolas Cage film emerged late this week when the following animated clip reached the Happening office. Featuring the actor and actress Tea Leoni, will the two team up after the disappointing movie Family Man?
Cage has not appeared in an HTG film since 2008's Green Lantern: Legacy. His starring role in 2006's Zest is still considered one of the worst performances in the city's history. The attractive Leoni, however, only has one HTG credit... 2005's Cannonball Run: Full Throttle. Perhaps a new film, even animated, would be a great boost to both talents' careers.
Mission From God Acknowledged by Vatican
The desire to go forth with a new Blues Brothers film has increased recently for SNL franchise owner Miracle Pictures, thanks to a recent announcement from an unlikely source. According to Reuters:
Jake and Elwood, the lovable if hapless characters played by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in the classic 1980 film The Blues Brothers , have finally gotten Vatican recognition for their "Mission from God."
To mark this week's 30th anniversary of the film, which became a cult classic and spawned a fashion of wearing black hats and dark sunglasses to parties, the Vatican newspaper dedicated a full page and no fewer than five articles to it.
One of the articles says there is "no lack of evidence" that The Blues Brothers can be considered "a Catholic film."
It notes that Jake's release from prison and the commitment by him and Elwood to put their blues revival band back together to raise money to save an orphanage from forced closure has parallels with the Biblical story of the prodigal son.
Jake and Elwood -- who say they are on a "mission from God" to raise the money to pay a back tax bill for the orphanage -- and the band members, are symbols of "redemption obtained with sacrifice."
The newspaper also notes that the film is sprinkled with Catholic and moral references such as the nun Sister Mary Stigmata, who they call "The Penguin."
Elwood even passes up a chance for a one-night stand with a woman played by Twiggy in order to fulfill the mission, it says.
"This is a memorable film, and, judging by the facts, a Catholic one," the newspaper said.
What would the focus of a new Blues Brothers film be, especially with the death of actor John Belushi? A continuation of Blues Brothers 2000 with John Goodman and Joe Morgan? A prequel with young Jake and Elwood at the orphanage and the discovery of blues music?
No word has been given by MP head Marlowe, who is notorious for putting more on his plate than he can finish.
If That's the Mayor, I'm Excited. If That's Tranny Impersonator Regan Foxx, I'm Bummed.
One of our freelance photographer friends has submitted the above image of Mayor Megan Fox. The leader has been absent from the city over the past weeks, but this photo places her not far from her office in the downtown section of the HTG Hollywood.
Is the picture truly recent? Has Mayor Fox returned? Will she be announcing said return and explaining where she has been? Stay tuned to this news source for further information.

What's Up, HTG?
After weeks of sitting in the franchise price request thread unpurchased, Miracle Pictures chief Marlowe has okayed a $750 million check to be written for the buy.
"Everyone at the studio is really excited about it" an MP insider stated. "We have no idea what The M will do with the property. A cartoon movie? A sequel to Space Jam? A crossover with another franchise? Maybe Marlowe will just sit on the acquisition. He's done that with others. Until he opens up, it's anyone's guess."
Anyone with information on this is invited to contact this HTG news source.

HTG Movie Lovers Want Mo' Modine (Thanks, Pedro)
Matthew Modine will be leaving the HTG Armory to play the #5 role in Pedro's "Sellevision." He will perform his duties at half of his usual price. Pedro is glad to have Modine in the film and planned to cast him anyway without the armory use. Modine will be playing one of the heads of the Sellevision corporation, Howard Toast. Howard is an interesting character, according to the word from Baseball Mogul Productions, who has a lot of problems and isn't very likable.
Modine, on the other hand, was said to be perfectly wonderful to work with. Sellevision will be the actor's first role in all of his time in HTG Hollywood. Will the Visionquest/Full Metal Jacket star be seeing more work soon?

Cruise News to Chase Away the Blues. And Some Others. Cha.
With the introduction of two new films in HTG theatres, Lumania and The Sasquatch Massacre, two older movies have been taken from the big screen. This week it's the Bishop/Flip hit Batman: Season of the Witch and Wonder Inc's That Mother Effin' Liar.
With the latest Batman flick looking to take the top list on the all-time chart after foreign money is paid, the big move belonged to action star Tom Cruise. Even at the third cast slot, his Talent Score is now 16.779. That moves him to second place on the top actors list, shifting Harrison Ford back to third. He's even within reach of Dick Tracy himself, Tom Hanks. Will Tom's next film propel him to the top?
Oddly enough, it was a third cast slot in 2006's comedy Cruisified that kicked the actor to a higher TS, not a starring position. Is co-starring in films the key to Tom Cruise's HTG success?
The star of BSotW, Casey Affleck, entered the Ten Plus club with a new TS of 12.541. That places him higher than brother Ben (who will come up below).
Director Alfonso Cuaron also rose to above 10, with a new TS of 11.841. Clive Owen and Malcolm McDowell found it easy to go to 9.741 and 6.412. As normal with the Batman releases, anyone joining the project will see happiness with the box office results.
CzarTim's That Mother Effin' Liar, seeing Kevin Smith in both directing and acting positions, proved to do well enough to keep everyone involved pleased. Smith's TS rose to 5.928 and Ben Affleck in a supporting role as "Everyone" made it to 11.756... a slight gain, but not enough to keep him above brother Casey. Comedic actress Kristen Wiig's new TS is now 1.329.
On the talent database thanks to a Be a Star! purchase, producer CzarTim's Talent Score made it to 2.239... not bad for an HTG citizen.
Congratulations to all involved with these two successful films.

If I Had a Mohawk Like That, I'd Sell Rides For $2. Or a Big Candy Bar. I'm Flexible.
With the opening of The A-Team in theatres this weekend, speculation from insiders is that Miracle Pictures chief Marlowe may not be continuing his own release of the 80's franchise on HTG screens.
"At the very least he'd consider postponing it for a significant period" a local film buff guessed. "Although the weekend's gross for the RL A-Team was a respectable $26 mil, that's low for Marlowe's standards. I know that if he went through with the project, he'd want an opening week of at least $40 mil, maybe $50 million. Marlowe considers The A-Team a big franchise and wants it to be big in theatres."
Rumors have passed among movie fans in HTG Hollywood for some time on the nature of Marlowe's adaptation of the franchise. They include:
Casting little people/midgets as the on-the-run combatants who spend their spare time helping others.
Having Lt. Templeton "Face" Peck be an attractive actress, rather than a smooth actor. Megan Fox, ScarJo and Jessica Biel were rumored to have been "interviewed" for such a role.
Casting a white actor for B.A. Baracus, played by Mr. T in the original series and "Rampage" Jackson in the current release.
Having a non-white comedic actor as H.M. Murdoch, such as a recent Marlowe favorite, Tracy Morgan.
Of course, these are all rumors, as Marlowe has not stated his intentions.
"He and the studio have such a long list of properties available that it's impossible to tell which one he would work on, perhaps finish, first. I bet he'd accept assistance if the idea was right."
Marlowe's A Summary Protest opens in theatres next Friday.

Cameron/Bigelow Sightings Incite Rumors (By Romeitaliano)
One of HTG's top directors, James Cameron (with a very respectable Talent Score of 16.625, second only to Tim Burton), has been seen dancing with ex-wife and recent Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow at HTG's top dance clubs. Cameron, who had been married five times, can claim Kathryn as his third wife. He had been competing with Kathryn in last year's Oscars, but lost to her. Cameron and his current wife, Suzy Amis, gave fake smiles at the Oscars, pretending they were grateful for Kathryn's win. Even at the Golden Globes, Cameron said in his speech that Kathryn should have been awarded rather than him.
Now, as Kathryn's popularity is rising, Cameron might be thinking about returning to her, if rumors are correct. Poor Suzie, who Cameron had seen on the set of Titanic, will be left alone if he turns back.
Kathryn became the only women director ever to win an Oscar. She has not remarried since her marriage to James. Like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie becoming a famous acting couple, James is rumored to have wanted to be named the most famous directing couple with ex Kathryn. Maybe soon there will be Cameron and Bigelow sightings everywhere.
James Cameron has been nominated twice for the Yodas and Bigelow was famous for the film A Hitchhiker'sLabyrinth. Who of these directors will lead HTG's world?

New Producer to Redo Sellers Movie (Thanks For the News, Luc)
Working into the late evening last night, Ship of Fooles studio head Lucian inked a deal with new producer DTBaum to remake the 1979 dramatic comedy Being There for HTG.
According to Wikipedia:
The [original] film stars Peter Sellers, Shirley MacLaine, Melvyn Douglas, Jack Warden, Richard A. Dysart, and Richard Basehart. Douglas won the Academy Awardfor Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Sellers was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role. This was the last Peter Sellers film to be released while he was alive. The screenplay was coauthored by Kosinski and the award winningscreenwriter Robert C. Jones, winning the 1981 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Film) Best Screenplay Award and the 1980 Writers Guild of America Award (Screen) for Best Comedy Adapted from Another Medium. It was also nominated for the 1980 Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay.
Lucian reportedly had to encourage DTBaum to make a price request so Lucian could set it before he began negotiating to release the film, to avoid any possible conflict of interest. With a $50 million franchise price set Lucian offered DT $30 million up front to allow him to take out a six month lease on the franchise. The surplus was for DTBaum to buy his first apartment to actually store the franchise.
Lucian also offered his standard deal: 50% of all domestic profits and, assuming the film breaks even on domestic, 75% of all foreign box office. The $30 million advance will not be deducted from DT's share of the profits.
No word yet on casting, obviously a talented lead will be key to step into Peter Sellers' shoes. No release date is set but, with only a six month lease, expect it to be before year's end.

Recent Film Exits Cause Changes to Talent Scores and Stars' Happiness

Recently the box office accountants updated receipts for six weeks, granting more than a billion dollars to studios (and one indy producer) in BO revenues. Once those funds were paid, it was up to the staff at the HTG Talent Headquarters to determine if the starring actors and directors of the exiting films were happy with the amount of money their films made. Most were, a couple weren't. As the results were figured, as usual, notes of interest came up.
Directing the horror film Holdout for Checkmate Pictures, Sam Raimi remained in the 10 Plus Club with a new Talent Score of 11.659. That added to the success of his other horror flick from 2009, Scream Bloody Murder. It seems that the fan favorite can do no wrong.
Once a film passes 200 million dollars in domestic gross, it's pretty darn hard to make a featured talent unhappy. Happy For the Rest of Your Life 2 pleased director Mike Nichols and Matt Damon. And it most especially rose the TS for Angelina Jolie, the second star of the 2-cast film. Reaching a respectable 11.125, Jolie knocked Kate Hudson from the top 3 actresses list. Will a starring role return the peppy blonde to the top trio?
Another film exceeding 200 mil in domestic box was Destination Zero, from fledgling studio Wonder Inc. Who would think that Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell's TS would reach 6.521? That's more than 6 million dollars for a starring role and more than 3 mil for co-starring. Maybe she won't need her private investigator's gig for too much longer.
Prepare for Themarloweconspiracy (a tangent to the long-running Theflipconspiracy). He's the EIC of this news source. He's the chief of Miracle Pictures, both the studio and production company. And he's the fellow who figured out the talent score changes. So it's no surprise that the results for A Short Protest were positive. But, well, it did do well in theatres. (Thank you.)
HTG's prolific producer Pedro threatened Marlowe when he saw that Cameron Crowe was directing A Short Protest, a multi-themed collection of shorts that were intended to protest the overuse of unimaginative short films in theatres. Pedro's worries were unnecessary, because director Crowe's Talent Score rose to 10.889, making him a new member of the 10+. George Clooney and Vin Diesel, scores already above 10, saw an increase as well. And, thanks to the placement of 89-year-old Abe Vigoda in the fourth position, his TS rose to 4.894. Not bad for the ol' fella, huh?
The star of the film, former HTG Mayor Chris Harmer, would receive a new TS of 6.625. From humble beginnings in The Good, The Bad and The Harmer, Chris' future as a producer/actor will likely remain bright.
Low-grossing Boytoy Beta didn't harm the feelings of the talents involved. Decent Into Madness also kept the spirits of those involved, including star Johnny Depp, who at one time wasn't happy working with Ship of Fooles Studio.
And, at last, we reach a film that didn't pan out as well as expected. Flip Brothers' Walking on Asphalt couldn't reach the figure necessary for star Shia LaBeouf to keep his score up. Dropping to 6.687 TS, perhaps a Plants vs. Zombies sequel would get him back up?
Lake Hope Features' The Arcadist gained enough cash to keep the people associated with the rewrite to Pinball Wizards pleased, including recent Oscar winner Jeff Bridges.
Alice in LaLaLand, a rare release by Bulletproof/Avatar, exceeded 200 million dollars. Director Terry Gilliam rose his TS to 8.493. Will a Monty Python film benefit by his new score? Slotted in the fourth position, Angelina Jolie once again saw a rise, making it to 11.731. This would also give the actress the second postion among the top 3 actresses, pushing Kate Beckinsale to third. Julia Roberts' 14.690, however, will be a rather difficult position to overcome.
Of note concerning Alice is that BPA made a mistake in the casting that may cost them. Kate Hudson, once a top 3 actress, was kept out of the top 4 cast listing. With a TS of 10+, Miss Hudson is required to be in the top 4 of the film. Will she retaliate against the studio? Or will the Talent HQ step in for her?
A Story About Life from the Flips satisfied its talents, getting within a couple weeks of making 200 mil domestic.
The offbeat Assassin: A College Tale from LHF fell short of the roughly 113 million required for Ben Affleck's happiness. His Talent Score, even with his fourth position in the film, lowered to 11.179. Although still respectable, the actor most likely would like to see it challenge the TS of the several actors above him on the top list.
Rounding out the films tested with the recent BO postings is the Goldie Hawn/David Caruso short MacGuffin. Checkmate should be pleased, because the talents weren't, though not grossing a large sum of money. Will a rumored sequel see the return of the stars and perhaps a larger amount of cash?
Because of recent operating difficulties and the complicated process of the current talent unhappiness, another rumor is that Talent Admin Marlowe may be changing what happens when top film cast loses TS. Will it be more difficult for the studios? Or will a mere slap on the wrist be involved? An announcement is expected to be made in the near future.
Congratulations to all involved with the recent successful film runs. What movie will be the next big hit and thrill the celebrities involved?

More Q News. Thanks, Q. Stay Tuned for Some Q Advice. Q-Tips. Ha! I'll Be Here All Week.
The HTG Police Force will be losing a SWAT team member, LL Cool J, who works under the name "Deke Key." He will be leaving his spot to take part in the new Lake Hope Features horror film "Zombie Madness," being produced by newcomer Someonesomeone.
Zombie Madness follows a group of friends who, upon going to one of the friend's wedding, gets stuck in a town that has just been hit by a terrorist attack, turning the citizens into zombies. LL Cool J will be playing Zack, one of the locals the wedding guests encounter, and who may know something more about the zombie madness than he lets on.
LL Cool J co-stars with announced cast members Ashton Kutcher, Freddie Prince Jr, Sting, BJ Novak and Brad Garrett. The film is being directed by Harold Ramis (Tivo) and will be released on June 11th.
Reynolds Dating Watts? (By Romeitaliano)
Actors Ryan Reynolds and Naomi Watts have been seen dining together in one of HTG's great restaurants. Reynolds and Watts also seem to have grown close on the set of the new film Sellevision. They were often seen alone together and seemed to be sharing each other's interests.
Reynolds, who currently stars in Lumania, is becoming one of HTG's popular actors. Naomi, who was last starring in Beibo Suncloud, is also an established HTG actress. Director Jason Reitman, who is directing Sellevision, complained that he had trouble controlling the pair, allegedly being too close and a bit stubborn.
"It's hurting the film's production rate" says the director. "When producing a film, a good relationship between the cast is needed, but too much of a relationship between them can also cause trouble for the others."
TV shopping channel flick Sellevision is set to released on June 25.

Hubby-Less Roles for Horizon Actress
Titanic star Kate Winslet recently divorced her director husband Sam Mendes. Soon after, Kate set out for two films about women without husbands. Mildred Pierce, a film which won Joan Crawford an Oscar, will be remade as a TV mini series and Kate is to star as the lead. The mini series is about a woman divorced from her husband and how she struggled to improve her daughter's life.
Kate is also due to star in Beyond the Horizon, a film which is also about a widow left with a daughter. It seems Kate enjoy making husbandless movies and even in real life she has been seen enjoying freedom. After the recent divorce, Kate went on a holiday with her two children in Mexico. Kate is also known to be a kids loving mum.
Soccer Fans Grouped in South Africa
The world's greatest soccer event, the World Cup, will be held starting on June 12. Football luminaries, referees, players and fans are grouped in South Africa to participate in one of the world's greatest spectaculars. English, Greek and French soccer teams have been seen arriving in South Africa earlier this month. Security is being set up in South Africa in fear of terrorism. The defending champions, Italy, will arrive on the 9th, while the popular champions for this year, Spain, will arrive on the 11th.
The excitement is steaming up. During this time, a film about soccer would do a lot of box office, especially in South Africa. HTG producers, steam up the heat more with your talents!
Europe's Sexiest Actresses
A poll has revealed that Europe's sexiest actresses is 45-year-old Italian beauty Monica Bellucci. Bellucci beat many young actresses from Europe, including Emma Watson, Diane Kruger and Kate Winslet. Bellucci, who recently starred in Regrets in Tiber as a graceful mother, still appeared to be as sexy as in her youth. One voter claimed that Belluci can be old in age, but never old in her face and body.
Bellucci has appeared in many supporting roles in Hollywood films and a number of HTG movies. Although she is not one of HTG's top actresses, she is a top actresses from a foreign country. Bellucci starred opposite Michael Imperoli in Regrets in Tiber, now in theatres.

Is There an Oriental Version of I Am the Walrus?
Normally the opening of a film is a cause of excitement and celebration. Unfortunately for HTG theatre operators this weekend, one new movie is causing the wrong kind of excitement.
"Is very unreasonable!" cried one of dozens of protestors at the premiere of Lumania, the Hollywood Film Fund-sponsored science fiction movie from Romeitaliano.
According to a spokesman for the group, many of the Chinese population of HTG Hollywood were under the impression that Lumania was a tribute film to Bejing native musician Lu Chung Hu, in the spirit of Beatlemania. When it was discovered that Lumania was actually about a troubled space shuttle flight instead, a loud protest broke out when ticket refunds were not given.
"It's not our fault that they didn't pay attention to the film's publicity" argued a theatre operator. "Posters, ads, news stories... What kind of fool thought that the movie was about some Oriental musician?"
Chief Carl O. Winslow of the local police force was able to get the fevered crowd dispersed after an hour of hosing from a nearby fire hydrant.
"That cooled 'em off" a bystander stated.
Lumania, the sci-fi film, not the musical bio, is currently in theatres.
Dark Days In Nobility History (By Romeitaliano)
A true story... tragic yet unforgettable and dangerously true. The documentary Princess Mafalda of Savoy takes place during German occupation of Italy. King VictorIII, the Italian king at that time, chose to change sides from the Axis to the Allies. This caused Germany to invade Italy. The Germans army soon arrived at Rome. The royal family fled to the south of the country, although for some reason the Italian King's daughter, Princess Mafalda, remained at Rome. She was captured and arrested. Her later life was as dark as anyone could imagine.
This TV movie documentary will broadcast by Bandit Broadcasting Station and produced by The Golden Age Productions. Narration will be provided by Saul Rubinek.
Quantum Gives Us the Poop on an Actor Joining the Madness. Thanks, Q.
The HTG Armory will be losing a soldier. BJ Novak, who serves under the name "Smithson Utvich." He will be leaving his spot on the squad to take part in the new Lake Hope Features horror film "Zombie Madness," being produced by newcomer Someonesomeone.
Zombie Madness follows a group of friends who, upon going to one of the friend's wedding, gets stuck in a town that has just been hit by a terrorist attack, turning the citizens into zombies. BJ Novak will be playing one of the friends, the sarcastic Luke.
BJ Novak co-stars with announced cast members Ashton Kutcher, Freddie Prince Jr, Sting and Brad Garrett. The film is being directed by Harold Ramis (Tivo) and will be released on June 11th.
Big May Critic Contest Ends (By Romeitaliano)
The May contest for critics ended after the passing of May 31st, with Lucian leading others with 28 points. Teufel placed 2nd with just a one point difference after Lucian.
Other winners include CzarTim with 9 points, Romeitaliano with 7 points, RS with 4 points and Quantum with 3 points.
The top 3 contestants get a chance to choose a second pick from the listed prizes. Being the first, Lucian grabbed batons from the movie Kick Ass as his reward. Teufel picked a toy drive award and CzarTim managed to get a movie franchise worth up to $35 million.
The contest was very helpful to HTG, as many reviews began to flow just after the contest had started.
Wow, That IS Unlucky. Unlucky With a Capital U. (Thanks, Tim)
It's been a bad few years for Ewan McGregor. His only credit in two years has been a cameo. Early this year things began to look up after he was cast as James Bond, but he was fired within the first week of shooting. To make up for it, But Alas Pictures cast him in a top four role in the upcoming blockbuster "unlucky." How apropos, as he has now been fired from that set as well.
"He has a real problem," stated one crew member who requested anonymity. "I mean, we have yet to see him sober, and it's been weeks."
The Scotsman's failure to arrive on set in workable condition has forced director McG to fire him. And since the movie is being released in a week, the role has been severely trimmed.
Who's the replacement? No one is telling. The role was recast with someone who has worked with But Alas Pictures before, but it's now classified as a cameo. So you'll have to go see "unlucky" to find out!
In related news, Bryce Dallas Howard is leaving the HTG Armory to work on the film. She joins Elizabeth Banks, Bruce Willis, Jeremy Renner, Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Hawkes, Lucian, Ethan Suplee and Paul Sorvino in the all-star cast.
"unlucky" is in buzz now, and will be out next week!
Stars Attend Lumania's Premiere (By Romeitaliano)
A new sci-fiction film, Lumania from Iron Man director Jon Faverau, has just been released. The movie's premiere was attended by the cast, including Colin Farrell, Ryan Reynolds (who lead the film), along with Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Chris Pine.
Favarau said that he had to work hard for this film. It is said to be similar the successful Avatar and the plot is about the discovery of a new livable planet. Farrell, who got along great with the cast, said that he was more excited to watch the film than the audience. Reynolds, who received much critical attention after his work in The Proposal, continues to work hard in this film. Hathaway and Blunt seem to have really got on well and were seen laughing and talking happily on the set.
The film is rumored to have a sequel. Lumania is currently in theatres.

Biebermania Hits Theaters (Justin News AND Wallpaper? Thank, Luc!!!)
Justin Bieber has never acted in a film before. But, after an appearance on Saturday Night Live, Lucian pegged him to take a key role in his new film "In 3-D". Bieber himself was surprised and excited by the offer. And he got some help from veteran actors on the set.
"My scenes are just with Taylor (Lautner) and Debra (Messing). They were both a big help. They gave me all kind of advice on acting. I play a fussy child who isn't satisfied with food or television. Our scenes act as the frame for the TV clips that make up the bulk of the film. Lucian said it was like another film called Amazon Women on the Moon. I don't know. My mom won't let me watch it."
Lucian's role as a High School Football Coach, fans of Yankovich's original album and Bieber are building buzz for the film. Other actors set to appear include HTG luminary Mr. T, legendary pitchman Ron Popeil, Tony Todd and "Weird" Al himself playing numerous roles.
In 3-D enters buzz voting next week.

New Guest Means Sweet Fun for HTG Producer
Popularity comes and goes for many celebrities. For some it goes and stays gone. For some it returns. Fortunately for 88-year-old comedic actress Betty White, her fame is in a new upswing. After nailing a guest hosting gig on a recent Saturday Night Live, Betty White seems to be everywhere. And now she has a new HTG home... in producer Marlowe's backyard.
"I'm thrilled to put up Ms. White for a while" Marlowe commented during his daily visit to the offices of this news site. "She's a delight to be around. The pool house is quite nice and I know that she'll get some peace and quiet between her acting jobs... if she doesn't mind putting up with a swimming party or two. Heck, she'll probably attend them."
