At Least He Wasn't Falling Down Drunk. Well, Not THAT Drunk.

Viewers of 24: The Movie were given a treat last week when star Kiefer Sutherland decided to make some statements before the show. Besides covering possible new projects in HTG Hollywood, the actor had a grievance... 24 did not do well at the box office. Not only did it manage to take in only $87,458,719 domestically, that figure was $636,281 less than what was expected for him. His Talent Score lowered to 5.867.

The actor's words would perhaps have had more meaning... if more than three people were at the showing.

Because of a retooling of the negative reactions of talents because of exiting films, Sutherland will not land on 21st Century Cat's list of unhappy actors.

"We're working on the changes and should have it all figured out soon" a talent coordinator for the city commented when questioned.

Performing better at the box office was Trax's City of Knowledge. Sir Anthony Hopkins finally joined the Ten Plus Club with a TS rise to 10.294. And, although not getting numbers approaching the Star Wars films, James McAvoy's score rose to 12.569.

"McAvoy is one of those HTG oddities" the HTG talent spokesperson explained. "Although his real world demand isn't in the top ten percent, his HTG calling is. In a starring role, he gets more than 12 million dollars, thanks to the fans here. That's more than Sir Hopkins!"

With a good start to the summer movie season, prospects for more TS increases are expected.
