Devil Ray Television is announcing that it has canceled the low rated crime saga T.G from Safron Productions. The series, which followed a crime war brewing between two gangs, was the network's lowest rated series as HTG TV's.
In a statement released by DRTV, DRTV co-runner Quantum stated that "Everyone at DRTV had a great experience working on T.G. with Safron and the rest of the show’s terrific cast and crew. We’re proud of the series and appreciate the efforts of all of the creative people who were involved. Unfortunately, ratings for T.G's first season did not reach the levels required for DRTV to renew nor continue the series."
Sorry, kids. I can understand violence, but I draw
the line at the broadcast of the word "f**k."
Taking over T.G's slot will be "HTG's premier filler show" On Set, which posted higher ratings then any of T.G's airings.
Check out DRTV's series on Wednesdays during Session 8.
NOTE: The above statement was adapted from a RL statement issued by TNT regarding the actual cancellation of Raising the Bar.
UPDATE: Happening has learned that Ritchie Steven of Flip Brothers Studio has contacted Safron to see if he would like to make T.G. a feature length film. A reply has not been made at this time.
