I Bet the Funky Bunch Ain't Doing Anything Now, Either

Kris Greet confirmed today that Mark Wahlberg has been released from his contract on his hit FBTV crime show Badge Of Justice.

"I can indeed confirm that we have let Mark go" the long-time HTG Hollywood resident stated. "This was always intended to be his final season. I spoke with him before shooting started and said to him that due to certain restraints on the story telling, I could'nt work in his intended departure. Mark's character was to be killed in the season finale, but as I said, due to unforseen circumstances, I couldn't devote enough screen time to Mark's story without taking away from the main arc, which needs everything to be just right. So I decided to write Mark out off screen and leave it open. I can say that I have signed him to do two eps next season, so it's not the last we've seen of Brian Flaherty."
