With Miracle Pictures Studio finally deciding which "Poop" movie to release next, it took little time for controversy to ensue. Actor Abe Vigoda, famed for his appearance in two Godfather films and three Miracle Pictures projects, has some embarrassing photos online.
"There's a site out there, won't give the name," explained a staffer at MP, "that has obviously doctored pictures of Mr. Vigoda... in the buff. C'mon! He's a fine actor, sure, but beefcake? What's the point? It's as if someone was out to get him."
Although the photos are indeed risqué, the studio continued the production with Vigoda.
"The photographs may even help the box office. Who knows. People are curious sorts."
And what of the previously reported Poop: The Western?
"It's in the can, too. We just decided to do the crime film first. Expect the other one some day" the representative concluded with a giggle.
Poop: The Third Strike will open on March 14.
