More Money is Good, Me Thinks. Now What. Hmm. Sell Photos of RS Sleeping Face First in a Plate of Pasta? Two Mil a Shot? Hmm.

The initial run of syndication for HTG TV has come to a close, with Miracle Pictures series Dead Heat attracting the most cash. Ritchie Steven's demon busting cop show Downtown earned the spot as the show with the most money per episode.

"We're excited that this might get some more people seeing the show" stated MP producer Marlowe. "We ran with it for two seasons, twice as long as we first figured. The show's still available if people want to check out some older work of mine, reachable through the HTGmdb."

With renewed interest in Dead Heat, will viewers see a return for LAPD Detectives Roger Mortis and Douglas Bigelow?

"That's unlikely. At the end of the second season that's made pretty obvious. Well, to me, at least. However, I do have an idea or two for a followup... one a series and the other a movie. You never know what the future will bring."

According to syndication operator Lucian Carter, network chiefs have been paid their syndication funds.

"Start your pestering... now!" the Ship of Fooles/Rogue Net executive joked.

Congratulations to all involved on this first run of syndication.

Why? Why Not?

"It was a slow news weekend" remarked Happening EIC Marlowe when asked about making updates to this news source. "I guess I need to jump start the week. Here you go."

Where's the Wrestling News, Dawg?

Numerous townsfolk have contacted the Happening office over the last few weeks that have basically asked one question: Where's all the wrasslin' coverage?

For citizens new to HTG Hollywood and not in the mood to go to the HTG Archives link, here's the backstory. Most professional coverage for this news source was handled by one person... Bobby Allen Sherman, aka Wrestleboy.

Wrestleboy in his reporting prime

The youthful reporter had the uncanny ability to sneak around wrestling venues and pick up scoops and rumors that no one else was able to. He's a kid, right? What harm could come of him hearing or seeing something?

Eventually, however, the staff at TCW noticed that Wrestleboy was reporting on things that he heard. Most of that news was acceptable. Some, however, was not. Sometimes the backstage politics and the oversized egos involved in professional wrestling didn't need to be revealed. But, there in Happening, for all to see, was the occasional bad news. TCW officials and talent became tight lipped. Getting the inside poop on the pay per views and the HTG TV shows got tougher and tougher.

However, the worst news was yet to come. Earlier this week, the following memo was posted at the Happening office:

In accordance with the Wellness Policy of What's Happening in HTG Town, Bobby A. Sherman (Wrestleboy) has been suspended for one (1) calendar month for violation of the policy, effective August 25.

The news shocked the Happening staff. It is company policy to not try to guess the cause of the suspension. Once the EIC makes his decision, it's been made.

So, in a nutshell, the lack of wrestling news has its reason. Will another reporter step in? Or will we have to wait for the month to end? When the month ends, will Wrestleboy even return? Will the Editor in Chief allow him back? Will wrestling fans be forced to venture to other news sites for their fix? Numerous questions can be asked, but a "we'll see" attitude dominates the situation.

Finally, A Reason to Post a Pic of the Mayor Again. Sorry For the Delay. I Had the Flu Earlier This Week, You Know.

"HTG Hollywood Mayor Megan Fox has been signed to host the season premiere of Saturday Night live on September 26. Will Marlowe of Miracle Pictures take advantage of this opportunity by using her in an upcoming SNL project for Hollywood the Game?

"I've got to do something" stated the long-time resident. "I did fork out a nice chunk of change for the property. I've got numerous ideas, but not enough time in the day to get them seriously going. Heck, I had even done some research for a MacGruber film, but it looks like I've been beaten to the punch. Not that I can't do one anyway. It's just that I think something that hasn't hit the big screen would have more impact for the HTG movie audience. So I'm slowly working on other SNL films. One of these days I might even get one out."

2009 Mayor Megan Fox

As for including Mayor Fox?

"I think that she would be great in some capacity. It depends on the movie. Maybe not a Blues Brothers or Killer Bees flick, but maybe a Wayne's World or Superstar movie. Not that those are in the works, mind you, but those are ideas."

Yes, More News From Quantum. He's a Madman. Thanks, Q.

Vivica A. Fox has been named The Hottest Woman Alive by the What's Happening in HTG Town news source. A recent poll among a select group of men found Vivica A. Fox more attractive then the likes of Vanessa Williams, Gina Torres and RuPaul.

The poll comes just days before the release of Vivica's new movie "House of Mirrors," which is being executive produced by horror icon Wes Craven. The film is being produced by Exavior (Down & Under).

The movie follows a man (Taye Diggs) who, after being encouraged by his friends, kills his fiancee in a jealous rage. This causes friction between the man and his fiancee's daughter (Keke Palmer).

House of Mirrors is being directed by James Wan and comes out this Friday via ExaviorHouse Productions and Lake Hope Features.

What Do Ya Know, I Went to School With a Gal Named Cindy Kashun. But She Didn't Watch a Lot of TV. Just Taxi Reruns. She Loved Reverend Jim.

The new HTG Television syndication system has begun, with the buzz voting for fifteen TV shows commenced. Each of the three networks has found five former HTG TV series of varying genres to gain syndication funds from. Voting will continue through August 31.

"Most shows should make some money" stated Rogue Net chief Lucian Carter. "It would take a low average buzz for a show to not make back its investment."

Syndication should continue between HTG TV sessions in the future. All are invited to provide their votes on this initial run.

Q Ain't the Only Guy Who Can Send News. Here's Some From Lucian. Thanks, Luc. Reward Yourself With Some Tim Horton's.

Tivo tells the story of a middle aged gay couple trying to decide what to take off their TIVO. While this may sound like the premise to a comedy, it's actually a serious drama.

James Woods and Robin Williams star as the couple and are the only characters in the film.

"This is a film about inertia" says author Lucian. "It's about patterns people get stuck in and how they can ultimately change. Despite being short, I don't consider it a throwaway film. However, I deliberately kept the ad budget lower than my maximum so it wouldn't unfairly participate at the box office."

TIVO is available for pre-screening by contacting the producer. It opens September 4th.
